The Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds tells the story of a farmer whose field holds both wheat and weeds growing side by side. The workers want to pull the weeds right away. The farmer tells them to wait. He knows a hasty hand might tear out good wheat along with the bad.

We often ask why weeds exist in the world at all. This week, try a different question. Ask why God continues to work in you, even with the weeds still present in your own heart.
